Williamson pleads guilty to drug charges
A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to drug charges. 48 year old JEFFREY A. WILLIAMSON appeared before Judge Daniel Ford.
WILLIAMSON pleaded guilty to one (1) count of DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE (2nd offense) and one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE (2nd offense). Judge Ford ordered that he serve concurrent 4 to 5 year state prison sentences at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction. He will begin serving his sentence on January 18, 2012.
WILLIAMSON sold cocaine on December 6, 2010 and was in possession of cocaine with intent to sell the drug when he was arrested on January 7, 2011. The incidents occurred in Pittsfield.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
