Adamczyk pleads guilty to a conspiracy charge

An Adams woman pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to a conspiracy charge.  38 year old JODY ADAMCZYK appeared before Judge Daniel Ford. 

ADAMCZYK pleaded guilty to one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: DISTRIBUTION OF METHADONE.   Judge Ford gave her a 1 year suspended sentence at the Berkshire County House of Correction and placed ADAMCZYK on 2 years probation.    

The incident occurred in Adams between November 1, 2010 and November 25, 2010.  

Three (3) counts of DISTRIBUTION OF METHADONE were dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the North Adams and Adams Police Departments and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
