Allen arraigned on armed robbery and other charges

A Waterbury, Connecticut man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges.  21 year old DEON A. ALLEN a/k/a ACE (53 Hawkins Street) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford.  

ALLEN had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of ARMED ROBBERY, one (1) count of ASSAULT AND BATTERY BY MEANS OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON and one (1) count of INTIMIDATION OF A WITNESS OR OTHER PERSON in connection with an incident in Great Barrington, involving a 25 year old man, on September 15, 2012. 

Judge Ford ordered that ALLEN be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $2,500 bail on the condition he have no contact with the alleged victim.    

The investigation was conducted by members of the Great Barrington Police Department.
