Arnspiger enters not guilty pleas in Superior Court

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges.  23 year old MILES M. ARNSPIGER (20 South Merriam Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

ARNSPIGER had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of BURNING A BUILDING and one (1) count of MAKING A BOMB THREAT CAUSING SERIOUS PUBLIC ALARM.  Judge Agostini released him on personal recognizance on the condition ARNSPIGER stay away from Canyon Ranch, wear a GPS monitor and abide by a curfew. 

It is alleged that ARNSPIGER, while employed by Canyon Ranch, made a bomb threat and set fire to an outbuilding on the property.  The incidents are alleged to have occurred on May 19, 2012 and August 9, 2012.    

The investigation was conducted by members of the Lenox Police Department.
