Baker enters a not guilty plea on a robbery charge

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court.  30 year old JOSEPH A. BAKER (21 Austin Avenue) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford. 

BAKER had a not guilty plea entered on his behalf on one (1) count of UNARMED ROBBERY.  Judge Ford released him on personal recognizance.   

It is alleged that BAKER was involved in an unarmed robbery at the Price Chopper in Pittsfield on August 11, 2012.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
