Belanger has case continued for one year

A Clarksburg woman pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to drug charges.  24 year old NICOLE M. BELANGER appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

BELANGER pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS.  Judge Agostini continued the case without a change of plea for one year on the condition BELANGER undergo substance abuse counseling, refrain from using illegal drugs and undergo random drug testing.   

The charges stem from a motor vehicle stop in Lee on November 9, 2011. 

One (1) count of DRUG VIOLATION WITHIN A DRUG FREE SCHOOL ZONE was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Lee Police Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
