Bliss is arraigned in Superior Court

A Pittsfield woman was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on a drug charge.  28 year old SHANNON M. BLISS (39 Prospect Street) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford. 

BLISS had not guilty pleas entered on her behalf on one (1) count of TRAFFICKING IN COCAINE and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: TRAFFICKING IN COCAINE.  Judge Ford released her on $2,500 cash or $25,000 surety bail. 

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at her home on April 19, 2012.   

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield, Adams, Lanesborough, Lee and Great Barrington Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
