A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to child pornography charges.  52 year old DAVID BROWN SR. appeared before Judge Daniel Ford. 

BROWN pleaded guilty to two (2) counts of KNOWINGLY POSSESSING VISUAL MATERIAL OF A CHILD DEPICTED IN SEXUAL CONDUCT.  Judge Ford placed him on 1 year probation on the condition BROWN allow the Probation Department to search his home to make sure he does not possess a computer or have internet access during the probationary period.  BROWN must also register with the Sex Offender Registry Board.     

BROWN possessed child pornography in Pittsfield on June 3, 2010.

The investigation was conducted by state police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office.
