A Melrose, Massachusetts man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges.  19 year old JASON L. CAMPBELL (472 Pleasant Street) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford. 

CAMPBELL had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of ARMED HOME INVASION and one (1) count of ARMED ROBBERY.  Judge Ford ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $7,500 cash or $75,000 surety bail.  

It is alleged that CAMPBELL entered the home of a 26 year old Dalton woman and took money from her.  The incident is alleged to have occurred on April 14, 2012. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Dalton Police Department.
