Cashaw appears in Superior Court on drug charges
A Bronx, New York man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges. 38 year old JAMES W. CASHAW (1656 University Avenue) appeared before Judge John Agostini.
CASHAW had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of DISTRIBUTION OF OXYCODONE and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS. Judge Agostini released him on $1,000 bail.
It is alleged that CASHAW sold oxycodone and conspired with others to sell oxycodone in Pittsfield on January 3, 2012.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
