Chadwell sentenced to the house of correction

A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this morning in Berkshire Superior Court.  39 year old GLEN A. CHADWELL appeared before Judge Daniel Ford. 

CHADWELL pleaded guilty to two (2) counts of FAIL TO REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER.  Judge Ford ordered that he serve a 2 year sentence at the Berkshire County House of Correction.  CHADWELL was also placed on 5 years probation on the condition he continue to register as a sex offender and is subject to lifetime community parole.    

CHADWELL failed to register as a sex offender in Pittsfield.  The incidents occurred between August 1, 2010 and January 25, 2011. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
