Clerc is sentenced to jail and placed on probation

An Adams man who pleaded guilty on November 14th was sentenced this morning in Berkshire Superior Court.  32 year old DAVID CLERC appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

CLERC pleaded guilty to five (5) counts of KNOWINGLY POSSESSING VISUAL MATERIAL OF A CHILD DEPICTED IN SEXUAL CONDUCT.  Judge Agostini ordered that he serve 90 days of a 1 year sentence at the Berkshire County House of Correction.  CLERC was also placed on 2 years probation on the condition he forfeit all computers and media storage devices, not access or possess pornography and allow the Probation Department to search any computers and media storage devices CLERC has access to during the probationary period. 

CLERC was in possession of child pornography in Adams on January 25, 2010. 

The investigation was conducted by state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
