Davis is arraigned on drug charges
A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges. 39 year old NISHEEN E. DAVIS a/k/a NASHEEN DAVIS, RAJEEM LAYER PHILLIPS, JOHN SHELTON and RAJEAM PHILLIPS (46 Memorial Drive) appeared before Judge John Agostini.
DAVIS had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on two (2) counts of DISTRIBUTION OF OXYCODONE (2nd offense) and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS. Judge Agostini released him on personal recognizance.
It is alleged that DAVIS sold oxycodone on December 29, 2011 and January 3, 2012 and conspired with others to sell oxycodone in Pittsfield on January 3, 2012.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
