Dupont is arraigned in Superior Court

A South Egremont man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court.  19 year old ANDREW DUPONT (7 Sheffield Road) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

DUPONT had a not guilty plea entered on his behalf on one (1) count of VIOLATION OF A HARASSMENT ORDER.  Judge Agostini released him on personal recognizance on the condition DUPONT have no contact with the alleged victim, observe a curfew per probation, reside with his mother and remain drug and alcohol free during the pendency of this case.   

The incident is alleged to have occurred in Great Barrington on May 22, 2012 and involved a 16 year old girl. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Great Barrington Police Department.
