Grossjung enters not guilty plea on a drug charge
A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on a drug charge. 25 year old MITCHELL T. GROSSJUNG (14 Stratford Avenue) appeared before Judge John Agostini.
GROSSJUNG had a not guilty plea entered on his behalf on one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE. Judge Agostini released him on personal recognizance.
It is alleged that GROSSJUNG, the owner of Herman Alexander’s, conspired with others to distribute cocaine. The incident is alleged to have occurred in Pittsfield between February 24, 2012 and April 3, 2012.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield, Lenox, Lanesborough, Adams, Great Barrington and Lee Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
