Grossjung is arraigned in Superior Court

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court.  25 year old MITCHELL T. GROSSJUNG (14 Stratford Avenue) appeared before Judge Mary Lou Rup. 

GROSSJUNG had a not guilty plea entered on his behalf on one (1) count of KEEPING A PLACE FOR REGISTERING BETS.  Judge Rup released him on $300 cash bail. 

It is alleged that GROSSJUNG, the owner of Herman Alexander’s,  provided illegal poker machines to his customers.  The incident is alleged to have occurred in Pittsfield on April 28, 2012. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield, Lenox, Lanesborough, Adams, Great Barrington and Lee Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
