Hudson is arraigned on a drug charge
A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on a drug charge. 45 year old SADOWELL L. HUDSON a/k/a SADDWELL L. HUDSON (255 Columbus Avenue) appeared before Judge John Agostini.
HUDSON had a not guilty plea entered on his behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE (2nd offense). Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $5,000 cash or $50,000 surety bail.
The charge stems from the execution of a search warrant at his home on September 19, 2012.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield, Lanesborough and Great Barrington Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
