Jason Bushey enters not guilty pleas on sexual assault charges

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on sexual assault charges.  31 year old JASON BUSHEY (335 South Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

BUSHEY had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on two (2) counts of RAPE, four (4) counts of INDECENT ASSAULT AND BATTERY ON A PERSON WHO HAS ATTAINED 14 and one (1) count of INTIMIDATION OF A WITNESS OR OTHER PERSON.  Judge Agostini released him on personal recognizance on the condition BUSHEY have no contact with the alleged victim.   

It is alleged that BUSHEY sexually assaulted a woman who is now 18 years of age, in Pittsfield between February 1, 2011 and October 31, 2011.  It is also alleged that BUSHEY intimidated the alleged victim on June 15, 2012.   

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
