Keele pleads guilty to drug and other charges

A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this morning in Berkshire Superior Court to several charges.  25 year old PAUL R. KEELE, JR. appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

KEELE pleaded guilty to one (1) count of DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE in connection with the sale of cocaine, in Pittsfield, on November 30, 2010.

He also pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE WITH A SUSPENDED LICENSE (2nd offense) and one (1) count of DISORDERLY CONDUCT in connection with his arrest, in Pittsfield, on July 1, 2011. 

Judge Agostini ordered that KEELE serve 2 years at the Berkshire County House of Correction on the DISTRIBUTION charge.  KEELE was also placed on 2 years probation on the other charges on the condition he remain drug free and undergo random testing during the probationary period.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
