Kendig enters not guilty pleas in Superior Court

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on a robbery charge.  32 year old JERROD L. KENDIG (72 Deming Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

KENDIG DION had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of ARMED ROBBERY, one (1) count of ASSAULT AND BATTERY BY MEANS OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON and one (1) count of ASSAULT BY MEANS OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON.  Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $20,000 cash or $200,000 surety bail. 

It is alleged that KENDIG was involved in the armed robbery of a 23 year old man and 19 year old woman in Pittsfield on September 10, 2012. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
