Kerr appears on intimidation charges

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on intimidation charges.  23 year old JAMES D. KERR appeared before Judge John Agostini.

KERR had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on three (3) counts of INTIMIDATION OF A WITNESS OR OTHER PERSON.  Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $5,000 bail.

It is alleged that KERR intimidated two witnesses in a pending criminal matter.  The incidents are alleged to have occurred in Pittsfield between May 18, 2012 and May 25, 2012.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
