King held on bail on a drug charge
An Adams man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on a drug charge. 30 year old MATTHEW R. KING (27 Spring Street) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford.
KING had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE (2nd offense) and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE in connection with the execution of a search warrant at his home on March 13, 2012.
Judge Ford ordered that KING be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $10,000 cash or $100,000 surety bail.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Adams and North Adams Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
