Lesley appears in Court on Home Invasion and other charges

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges.  18 year old STEVEN T. LESLEY (253 Wahconah Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

LESLEY had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of ARMED HOME INVASION, one (1) count of ARMED ASSAULT WITH INTENT TO ROB, two (2) counts of ASSAULT AND BATTERY BY MEANS OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT ARMED ROBBERY WHILE MASKED.  Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $200,000 cash or surety bail. 

It is alleged that LESLEY assaulted and attempted to rob a 25 year old man and 21 year old woman in Pittsfield on September 10, 2012. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
