Marino enters not guilty plea on a drug charge

An Adams woman was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on a drug charge.  24 year old JESSICA L. MARINO (27 Spring Street) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford. 

MARINO had not guilty pleas entered on her behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE.  Judge Ford released her on $500 bail on the condition that MARINO agree to live with her Grandfather and undergo substance abuse counseling and testing.   

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at MARINO’S home on March 13, 2012. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Adams and North Adams Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
