Martin is arraigned on drug charges

An Englewood, New Jersey man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges.  28 year old MARTINI MARTIN appeared before Judge Daniel Ford. 

MARTIN had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on two (2) counts of TRAFFICKING IN OXYCONTIN and two (2) counts of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: TRAFFICKING IN OXYCONTIN.  Judge Ford ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $10,000 cash or $100,000 surety bail.     

It is alleged that MARTIN sold oxycontin and conspired with others to traffick in oxycontin between April 2, 2010 and May 6, 2010. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Adams, North Adams and Williamstown Police Departments and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
