Martin pleads guilty to drug charges, will be sentenced in February

An Englewood, New Jersey man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to drug charges.  29 year old MARTINI MARTIN appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

MARTIN pleaded guilty to two (2) counts of POSSESSION OF OXYCONTIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and two (2) counts of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF OXYCONTIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE.  Judge Agostini will sentence MARTIN on February 19, 2013 at 2 p.m.  He was released on $10,000 cash or $100,000 surety bail.      

MARTIN possessed oxycontin with the intent to sell the drug and conspired with others to sell oxycontin between April 2, 2010 and May 6, 2010. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Adams, North Adams and Williamstown Police Departments and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
