Merced enters not guilty pleas on drug charges

A Pittsfield woman was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges.  32 year old CYNTHIA M. MERCED a/k/a CYNTHIA M. CIBELLI (253 Wahconah Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

MERCED had not guilty pleas entered on her behalf on one (1) count of DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS.  Judge Agostini released her on personal recognizance. 

It is alleged that MERCED sold cocaine and conspired with others to see cocaine in Pittsfield on November 30, 2011. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
