Miller pleads guilty to drug charges, sent to prison
A Hampton, Virginia man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to drug charges. 37 year old LAWRENCE K. MILLER a/k/a FREDERICK MILLER, LEWRENCE MILLER and FREDERICK L. MILLER appeared before Judge Daniel Ford.
MILLER pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS and one (1) count of FURNISHING A FALSE NAME TO A POLICE OFFICER. Judge Ford ordered that he serve concurrent 3 to 4 year state prison sentences at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction on the charges of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS. The other charge was placed on file.
The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at 169 Pecks Road, in Pittsfield, on December 14, 2011.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield and North Adams Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
