Morton appears in Superior Court on a drug charge
A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court. 42 year old SHAUN S. MORTON a/k/a MORT (40 King Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini.
MORTON had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE (2nd offense) and one (1) count of OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE WITH A REVOKED LICENSE AS A RESULT OF BEING A HABITUAL TRAFFIC OFFENDER. Judge Agostini released him on personal recognizance.
The charges stem from a motor vehicle stop in Pittsfield on June 29, 2012.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
