Pettijohn enters not guilty pleas in Superior Court

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this morning in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges.  22 year old ADAM M. PETTIJOHN (8 Daniels Avenue) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford. 

PETTIJOHN had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on two (2) counts of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN, one (1) count of ASSAULT BY MEANS OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON and two (2) two counts of DISCHARGING A FIREARM WITHIN 500 FEET OF A DWELLING.  Judge Ford ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $25,000 cash or $250,000 surety bail. 

The incidents are alleged to have occurred in Pittsfield on April 12, 2012 and October 27, 2012. 

The investigations were conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
