Prus is placed on probation on a drug charge
A Ledyard, Connecticut woman pleaded guilty this morning in Berkshire Superior Court to a drug charge. 26 year old MONICA CHRISTINA PRUS appeared before Judge Daniel Ford.
PRUS pleaded guilty to one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS. Judge Ford placed her on 2 years probation on the condition PRUS refrain from using drugs, undergo testing and receive counseling during the probationary period.
PRUS conspired with others to sell oxycodone in North Adams on December 23, 2010.
One (1) count of TRAFFICKING IN OXYCODONE, two (2) counts of DISTRIBUTION OF OXYCODONE and two (2) counts of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS were dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.
The investigation was conducted by members of the North Adams, Pittsfield and Stockbridge and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
