Pryce pleads guilty in Berkshire Superior Court

A North Adams man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court.  30 year old TREVOR L. PRYCE JR. a/k/a JAMAICAN JAY appeared before Judge Daniel Ford. 

PRYCE pleaded guilty to one (1) count of ASSAULT AND BATTERY BY MEANS OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON.  Judge Ford ordered that he serve a 2 and a half year sentence at the Berkshire County House of Correction 

PRYCE assaulted 26 year old Jahda Martin in Pittsfield on March 6, 2010. 

One (1) count of MURDER and one (1) count of INTIMIDATION OF A WITNESS OR OTHER PERSON were dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department, state police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, state police from the Crime Scene Services Section and members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
