Roberts enters not guilty pleas on firearm and other charges

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges.  24 year old LANCE O. ROBERTS appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

ROBERTS had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on three (3) counts of RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY OVER $250, three (3) counts of ILLEGAL OWNERSHIP OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN and one (1) count of POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION WITHOUT A FIREARM IDENTIFICATION CARD.  Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $5,000 cash or surety bail. 

It is alleged that ROBERTS was in possession of stolen property in Pittsfield on July 22, 2012. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
