Roberts pleads guilty to drug charges in Superior Court
A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to drug charges. 31 year old ORLANDO J. ROBERTS appeared before Judge John Agostini.
ROBERTS pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS and one (1) count of POSSESSION OF LYSERGIC ACID DIETHYLAMIDE. Judge Agostini ordered that he serve concurrent 190 sentences at the Berkshire County House of Correction.
The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant in Pittsfield on February 4, 2010.
One (1) count of DRUG VIOLATION WITHIN A DRUG FREE SCHOOL ZONE was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
