Ruiz – Trujillo appears on a child sexual assault charge

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on a sexual assault charge.  30 year old ERICK RUIZ – TRUJILLO a/k/a ERICK RUIZ appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

RUIZ – TRUJILLO had a not guilty plea entered on his behalf on one (1) count of RAPE OF A CHILD: WITH FORCE.  Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $50,000 bail. 

It is alleged that RUIZ – TRUJILLO sexually assaulted a 6 year old girl in Pittsfield between November 3, 2012 and November 4, 2012. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
