Sadlow will serve prison time on drug charges

A Plainfield man pleaded guilty this morning in Berkshire Superior Court to several charges.  52 year old KEVIN J. SADLOW appeared before Judge Daniel Ford. 

SADLOW pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF XANAX WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of POSSESSION OF AMBIEN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE.  Judge Ford ordered that he serve concurrent 2 to 4 year state prison sentences at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction.     

The charges stem from an incident in Adams on February 11, 2012.

One (1) count of OPERATING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Adams Police Department.
