Sanford is arraigned on a drug charge
A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges. 22 year old RONALD P. SANFORD a/k/a BRAZIE (9 Atwood Avenue) appeared before Judge John Agostini.
SANFORD had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE (2nd offense) and one (1) count of DRUG VIOLATION WITHIN A DRUG FREE SCHOOL ZONE. Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $5,000 bail.
The charges stem from an incident in Pittsfield on July 30, 2012.
The investigation was conducted by state troopers assigned to the Cheshire substation.
