Shepard is arraigned on larceny and other charges

A Pittsfield woman was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court.  47 year old JANINE SHEPARD (59 Hollister Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

SHEPARD had not guilty pleas entered on her behalf on one (1) count of LARCENY OVER $250 and one (1) count of MAKING FALSE ENTRIES INTO CORPORATE RECORDS.  Judge Agostini released her on personal recognizance. 

It is alleged that SHEPARD, while employed at Greylock Federal Credit Union, took approximately $200,000.  The incident is alleged to have occurred in Pittsfield between January 1, 2010 and February 18, 2012. 

The investigation was conducted by state police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office.
