Taft arraigned on armed robbery and other charges

A Waterbury, Connecticut man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges.  32 year old KIJUAME S. TAFT a/k/a KESHAWN TAFT and MELLOW (100 Mark Lane) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford.  

TAFT had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of ARMED ROBBERY, one (1) count of ASSAULT AND BATTERY BY MEANS OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON and one (1) count of INTIMIDATION OF A WITNESS OR OTHER PERSON in connection with an incident in Great Barrington, involving a 25 year old man, on September 15, 2012. 

Judge Ford released TAFT on $5,000 bail on the condition he have no contact with the alleged victim.    

The investigation was conducted by members of the Great Barrington Police Department.
