Teti enters not guilty pleas on numerous charges

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on numerous charges.  31 year old ANTHONY C. TETI JR. (19 Lake Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

TETI had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on four (4) counts of LARCENY FROM A BUILDING, one (1) count of FORGERY OF A CHECK, one (1) count of UTTERING A FALSE CHECK, four (4) counts of RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY OVER $250, one (1) count of OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE WITH A SUSPENDED LICENSE, two (2) counts of LARCENY UNDER $250 FROM A PERSON OVER 60 YEARS OF AGE, twenty one (21) counts of MISUSE OF A CREDIT CARD, four (4) counts of IDENTITY FRAUD, twenty (20) counts of FRAUDULENT USE OF A CREDIT CARD, seventeen (17) counts of UTTERING A FALSE DOCUMENT, one (1) count of BREAKING AND ENTERING A BUILDING IN THE DAYTIME WITH INTENT TO COMMIT A FELONY, sixteen (16) counts of FORGERY OF A DOCUMENT, three (3) counts of LARCENY OVER $250 FROM A PERSON OVER 60 YEARS OF AGE, one (1) count of BREAKING AND ENTERING A MOTOR VEHICLE IN THE DAYTIME, one (1) count of LARCENY UNDER $250, two (2) counts of ATTEMPT TO COMMIT A CRIME, TO WIT: FRAUDULENT USE OF A CREDIT CARD and two (2) counts of COMMON AND NOTORIOUS THIEF.  Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $5,000 cash or $50,000 surety bail.       

The incidents are alleged to have occurred in Pittsfield and Cheshire between April 5, 2012 and August 12, 2012. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield and Cheshire Police Departments, and state troopers assigned to the Cheshire barracks.
