Thurston sent to jail for stealing from a bank

A Cheshire woman pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to several charges.  40 year old JENNIFER A. THURSTON (262 Ingalls Road) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

THURSTON pleaded guilty to one (1) count of EMBEZZLEMENT BY A BANK EMPLOYEE and one (1) count of LARCENY, ONGOING AND CONTINUING OFFENSE, OVER $250.  Judge Agostini ordered that she serve a 2 year sentence at the Berkshire County House of Correction on the charge of EMBEZZLEMENT BY A BANK EMPLOYEE.  THURSTON was placed on 2 years probation on the other charge.    

THURSTON, while employed by TD Bank North, took approximately $110,000 between February 1, 2008 and June 30, 2009. 

The investigation was conducted members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
