Tracey King pleads guilty, sent to jail

An Adams woman pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to drug charges.  50 year old TRACEY KING a/k/a TRACEY GAGNE appeared before Judge Daniel Ford.   

KING pleaded guilty to two (2) counts of DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE, four (4) counts of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, four (4) counts of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, three (3) count of UTTERING A FALSE PRESCRIPTION and three (3) counts of POSSESSION OF OXYCODONE.  Judge Ford ordered that she serve 1 year of a 2 year sentence to the Berkshire County House of Correction on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS.  KING was placed on 2 years probation on the other charges on the condition she remain drug free and undergo drug testing during the probationary period.  

The incidents occurred between December 22, 2009 and August 15, 2011.     

The investigation was conducted by members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force, including state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Pittsfield, Adams, North Adams, Dalton, Lee, Lenox, Williamstown, Lanesborough, Great Barrington and Stockbridge Police Departments, federal investigators from the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
