Capitanio is arraigned on B&E charges in Superior Court

A South Lee man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on breaking and entering charges.  32 year old JEREME E. CAPITANIO a/k/a JEREMY E. CAPITANIO (565 Meadow Street) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford. 

CAPITANIO had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on ten (10) counts of BREAKING AND ENTERING IN THE DAYTIME WITH INTENT TO COMMIT A FELONY and one (1) count of RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY OVER $250.  Judge Ford ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $2,500 cash or $25,000 surety bail. 

It is alleged that CAPITANIO broke into homes in Otis and Sandisfield between January 31, 2013 and February 22, 2013.     

The investigation was conducted by state troopers assigned to the Lee barracks.
