Dilley pleads guilty, placed on probation

An Adams man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to several charges.  41 year old ROY OWEN DILLEY appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

DILLEY pleaded guilty to four (4) counts of RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY OVER $250.  Judge Agostini placed him on 1 year probation on the condition DILLEY remain drug free and undergo drug testing and counseling during the probationary period.      

The charges stem from a house break in Cheshire on April 18, 2012. 

One (1) count of BREAKING AND ENTERING A BUILDING IN THE DAYTIME WITH INTENT TO COMMIT A FELONY, two (2) counts of LARCENY OF A FIREARM, two (2) counts of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN, one (1) count of CONSPIRACY, TO WIT: BREAKING AND ENTERING A BUILDING IN THE DAYTIME WITH INTENT TO COMMIT A FELONY were dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Adams Police Department and state troopers assigned to the Cheshire barracks.
