Dyer enters not guilty pleas on drug charges

A Springfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges.  38 year old JOHN A. DYER, SR. (8 Campus Place) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

DYER had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE (2nd offense), one (1) count of POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE (2nd offense) and one (1) count of FAILURE TO WEAR A SEATBELT in connection with an incident in Cheshire on November 24, 2012.

He also had not guilty pleas entered on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF OXYCODONE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE (2nd offense), one (1) count of POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL IN A MOTOR VEHICLE and one (1) count of FAILURE TO WEAR A SEATBELT in connection with a motor vehicle stop in Dalton on May 7, 2013. 

 Judge Agostini released him on $3,000 cash or $30,000 surety bail. 

The investigations were conducted by members of the Cheshire Police Department and state troopers assigned to the Cheshire barracks.
