Field pleads guilty, sent to state prison

A Monterey man pleaded guilty this morning in Berkshire Superior Court.  45 year old GERALD V. FIELD appeared before Judge John Agostini.    

FIELD pleaded guilty to two (2) counts of INTIMIDATION OF A WITNESS OR OTHER PERSON.  Judge Agostini ordered that he serve concurrent 4 to 6 year state prison sentences at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction.  The Judge ordered that sentence commence on and after a sentence FIELD is currently serving.       

FIELD intimidated two witnesses in a criminal matter.  The incidents occurred in Great Barrington between August 15, 2011 and January 10, 2012. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Great Barrington Police Department.
