Foley arraigned on sexual assault charges

A Lanesborough man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on sexual assault charges.  18 year old CHAD FOLEY (20 Irvin Street) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford. 

FOLEY had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on two (2) counts of INDECENT ASSAULT AND BATTERY ON A PERSON WHO HAS ATTAINED 14.  Judge Ford released him on personal recognizance on the condition FOLEY have no contact with the alleged victim. 

The incidents are alleged to have occurred in Pittsfield between July 1, 2012 and August 31, 2012 and involved a girl who is 15 years of age.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
