Gaetani is arraigned on firearm charges in Superior Court

A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on firearm charges.  29 year old JUSTIN C. GAETANI (103 Bradford Street) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford. 

GAETANI had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on two (2) counts of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF AN ASSAULT WEAPON, twelve (12) counts of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY FEEDING DEVICE, two (2) counts of ILLEGAL OWNERSHIP OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION WITHOUT A FIREARM IDENTIFICATION CARD, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF A FIREARM WITH A DEFACED SERIAL NUMBER, three (3) counts of IMPROPER STORAGE OF A LARGE CAPACITY FIREARM and one (1) count of IMPROPER STORAGE OF A FIREARM.  Judge Ford released him on personal recognizance. 

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at his home on March 3, 2013. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
