Hadsell pleads guilty to conspiracy charges

A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to several charges.  35 year old MATTHEW J. HADSELL appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

HADSELL pleaded guilty to one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF OXYCODONE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE/ECSTACY WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE.  Judge Agostini ordered that he serve concurrent 154 day sentences at the Berkshire County House of Correction. 

HADSELL conspired with others to sell drugs in Pittsfield on February 23, 2011.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield, North Adams, Williamstown and Great Barrington Police Departments and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.
