Jangrow placed on probation after pleading guilty in Superior Court

An Adams woman pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to several charges.  42 year old BILLIE L. JANGROW a/k/a BILLIE LYNN BROSMER appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

JANGROW pleaded guilty to five (5) counts of BREAKING AND ENTERING A BUILDING IN THE DAYTIME WITH INTENT TO COMMIT A FELONY, seven (7) counts of LARCENY OF A FIREARM, four (4) counts of CONSPIRACY, TO WIT: BREAKING AND ENTERING A BUILDING IN THE DAYTIME WITH INTENT TO COMMIT A FELONY, one (1) count of LARCENY OVER $250 ONGOING AND CONTINUING OFFENSE FROM A PERSON 60 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, two (2) counts of FORGERY OF A CHECK, two (2) counts of UTTERING A FALSE CHECK and one (1) count of RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY OVER $250.  Judge Agostini placed her on 3 years probation and ordered JANGROW to pay $237.50 in restitution.     

The charges stem from house breaks in Cheshire between April 13, 2012 and August 31, 2012. 

Seven (7) counts of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN were dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Adams Police Department and state troopers assigned to the Cheshire barracks.
